It is a very safe swimming beach, bush walks, boating, fishing, etc. There is just so much to do. Kayaks are available. Approximately 45 minutes' drive from Havelock. "Due to the weather event, boat towing to this property is unavailable. Only vehicle transportation is allowed as Keneperu Rd, TeMahia Rd, and our private driveway have been affected. We do not have a mooring or jetty. If you are transporting a boat, please launch it at havelock and tow the empty trailer to the property. We are still undergoing major repairs due to a storm in 2021-22. The repair work will continue until 2026, and there may be daily time restrictions in place.
