The Little Green Bach is a cute Kiwi bach in Riversdale, a secluded and relaxed coastal town where the people of Wairarapa and Wellington come to play. Riversdale's a great place for swimming, surfing, snorkelling, golf and fishing - and for sitting on the deck with a book and a beverage! With fantastic outdoor spaces and a light and airy upstairs living area, the bach is perfect for a family or a small group of friends. The two decks and huge lawn make it easy to enjoy outdoor living in the summer. The lawn is private and fenced, ideal for badminton, cartwheels, and picnics. The bottom deck flows out from the kitchen/dining area and is a fabulous spot for a BBQ meal. From the top deck you can see the ocean - a beautiful spot to watch the sunrise. In the winter, settle in around the large coffee table for a board game or puzzle, enjoy the sun-filled living area or venture out and breathe in some of that crisp beach air. With two heatpumps (one downstairs and one upstairs) it'll be warm and cosy even on those frosty mornings. The house sleeps 8, with two bedrooms downstairs and one at the end of the living area upstairs, separated by curtains. It's BYO linen. Bedroom 1: Small double bed, this room is next to the kitchen. Bedroom 2: 2 sets of bunks (4 single beds), this room is also downstairs and has room for a portacot if you need one. (not provided) Bedroom 3: King size bed, this room is upstairs - **please note that it is separated from living area by curtains. (See photos) The bach has a large rainwater tank, which is our only source of water and means we have to be careful with water usage, especially in the summer months. We ask our guests to be really mindful of running taps and not to have long showers. There is a washing machine there but we ask guests to take their washing home. Please note - there are strictly no parties allowed on the property. Riversdale is a secluded spot, it's a great place to unplug and relax - but before you do - please make sure that you fill up your car. The closest petrol station is in Masterton, 56km and 45mins away.
