Around the corner, walk the Tinui Anzac Walkway up to the Anzac Cross – marking the first Anzac Commemoration in New Zealand in 1916. Look around charming Tinui Village. We are centrally located to Mataikona, Castlepoint, Otahome and Riversdale beaches with a choice of options for swimming (Riversdale is patrolled during the summer season), walks, fishing, snorkelling and sights to see. The coastal walk at Castlepoint and up to the tallest lighthouse in the North Island is a must do. Inland, Rewanui Forest Park offers forest walks with notable plantings of native trees. Tennis court hire is available at Castlepoint. Or play golf at the Castlepoint Golf Course or Riversdale Beach Golf Club. Both golf courses are nine-hole courses – with the option to extend the Riversdale course to 18 holes by playing twice from different tees. One side of the renovated 3 bedroom house opens to leafy lawn and garden, the other to a sheltered wraparound deck with grill and out door dining. The open-plan hub of the home showcases the breathtaking aspect that stretches from Kapiti Island to beyond Pukerua Bay. There's also a 2 bedroom cottage that is perfect for extra space.

Summer Lodge & Summer Cottage are situated at the top of Dublin Street, just on the edge of Martinborough Village - a leisurely ten minute stroll from the Square. The lodge is the ideal setting for friends and family to gather and celebrate a special occasion, or just to spend time together and enjoy the famous wine and olives region of Martinborough. The house has numerous areas to relax both indoors and outdoors, with multiple doors opening out to provide a sense of alfresco living. The open plan living and dining area has wonderful indoor/outdoor flow with an impressive kitchen. It is perfectly heated in winter with an open fire & wood burner plus bedroom heaters. The lounge looks out over the lawn and gardens to the olive grove; bliss. Our master bedroom offers a super-king bed with ensuite, the second bedroom also has a super-king bed, while the third bedroom offers both a super-king bed and king-single bed. This room can be configured to three singles. Upstairs in our mezzanine floor, we have a super-king bed, and a luxurious single sofa bed if needed. Amble down the drive to our fully renovated cottage with sleeping for five guests. A super king bed, king single upstairs on the mezzanine and a fold out double sofa bed in the lounge. The interior is modern and sophisticated. It is appointed with the very best in furnishings, bedding and kitchenware. Check in is from 2.00pm (we may be able to accommodate you earlier upon request).
