The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 doubles and 1 bunk room, also a fold out couch. 2 living areas. For the summer a lovely deck with beach views and the winter a warm fire. Limited cell phone coverage. Please note, there is no swimming as a very strong under tow. Walk to Lake Ferry along the coast, only 3km. Lake Ferry Hotel has great meals, open 7 days a week. Pirinoa Store only 5 minutes drive. Martinborough only a 30 minute drive with award winning restaurants and world renowned wines. Cape Palliser/Ngawi - 30 minutes drive. Walk up to the Cape Palliser lighthouse after visiting NZ's largest mainland Seal Colony. Great diving and fishing. Visit The Putangirua Pinnacles near Cape Palliser where some of the most amazing rock formations you will ever see. Put on your sturdy walking shoes and do a day trip. Doing this walk early morning is best for the affect of the early sunshine coming through the rock formations. If wanting to BBQ you will need to BYO.
