About this Holiday House

Relaxing sunny and newly decorated beautiful 2 bedroom cottage. We are situated in the beautiful Bay of Islands town of Kerikeri. There is lots of space for the kids or a group of adults. Warm in winter or cooled down in summer with a heat pump. Lovely sun soaked deck for enjoying a glass of wine while the BBQ is getting ready or just sitting back with a good book and listen to the plentiful bird life. Situated in a rural setting, but just 5 minutes from cafes, restaurants, shops, beautiful bushwalks, waterfalls and galleries. Another bonus is we are only 2 minutes from a good boat ramp! Filleting table ready and waiting for that big catch! Your own access is down to the tree lined hideaway of Kendall Cottage.

Special Amenities

Close by are cafes, restaurants, shops, beautiful bushwalks, waterfalls and galleries. Plenty of off street private parking for cars and boats. Sunny private deck with BBQ and comfy seating. Also a large outdoor table and umbrella. So enjoy a glass of bubbles as the sun goes down, leaving the kids to jump on the trampoline or run around with a ball or frisbee. Bed configuration – 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 2nd bedroom with a set of bunks, 1 single bed. Highchair and travel cot are available upon request.

This was our second stay at Kendall Cottage, we love it here! Kendall Cottage is nestled in a private, peaceful area surrounding by trees. It's very clean and tidy with a warm homely feel. Linda and her husband are always fantastic hosts, always friendly, always willing to help. Kendall Cottage is just outside Kerikeri CBD, far enough to be quiet, but not far enough away if you wanted to walk into town (my wife and I did this several times on our last visit, this time it was a bit wet). The Cottage has all the mod cons including Netflix, etc. This is our home away from home when we need a fresher.

We were impressed by the cleanliness and tidiness of the holiday cottage, the very quiet surroundings, the child-friendly grass and the trampoline. It is a dream stay for families to relax after a day of travel. The owner is amiable and professional about her business, and we would certainly go back again.^^
