About this Holiday House

Built in 1950 Fantail Cottage is full of character. Recently renovated and decorated and full of colour, to reflect my personality, as it is my retreat when I’m not travelling Beautiful sea views of the Opua Harbour and beyond. Well stocked kitchen with every utensil and crockery you will require for your stay. Only a 5 minute walk to Bay of Islands Marina and the Opua cruising club and general store

Backed onto a native reserve is a bonus with all the birdlife, Tuis fantails and wood pigeons and the sound of Kiwi at night. Wake to the beautiful sunrise and enjoy a coffee on the deck

The carferry to Historic Russell is 2 minutes to the bottom of the Opua Hill, with the Bay of Islands Marina only a 5 minute walk. Beautiful coastal walking tracks. The town of Paihia is only 5 kms away where you can catch all the tourist attractions
