We loved the tranquility of the farm cottage. Our friendly hosts went beyond expectations to make us feel welcome, and to assist in any way they could! The kitchen was well-equipped, the lounge was comfy. We didn't have quite enough bedside lighting and perhaps different chairs for the kitchen dining-table would be good? Thank you for all the extra kindnesses you extended to us, and for sharing your peaceful location. We enjoyed meeting your family, playing card games, reading books, discovering local walks and beaches, and enjoying the birds. Our trip to Lochmara in the Sounds was a holiday highlight! (And we were delighted to help locate your missing farm dog)

Friendly, supportive hosts. Good flexibility and helpful. Quiet, peaceful space. Great parking, close to Picton, Blenheim and thr Marlborough grape region. Excellent base to explore from.

Host was excellent at communicating with us prior to our stay. He warned us not to make a sharp turn going into the farm property. He gave tour tips too and allowed us a late check-out as there was no booking on our last day. We were out most of the time so didn't really spend a lot of time at the accommodation. The cottage is simple but it has all the basics. Would suggest an FM radio in the kitchen to keep you entertained while cooking. Our 5-year old boy enjoyed playing with the toys he found in one of the rooms.
