Beach 7 min walk. Hahei Beach is usually very calm and safe swimming. Good snorkelling along the right-hand end (little bay). Hot water beach is rough generally so only swim between the flags.Walk to the Pa at the end of this street for a sunrise over hahei beach. Walk to Cathedral cove, along the beach and up to the lookout then down to the beautiful cove. Eating out – The Pour House and The Church is open during the weekends currently – they are more expensive. Hahei Beach café, Little blue (coffee and food) and all day is the ice-cream shop (pizza and fish and chips and ice-creams/ milkshakes!!!) in Hahei village or Hot waves café at Hot water beach. The campground has burgers and pizzas and a bar with a great atmosphere – definitely eat there one night.
