Pacific View Lookout is perched up high to capture the stunning ocean views. This spacious 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment is the perfect holiday pad for small families or groups of friends who want to be near the beach and town centre of Whangamata. Bedding configuration is 1x King, 1x Double, 1x Double. The master bedroom is on the top floor, and offers fantastic views, plus it's own ensuite bathroom. On the floor below, there are 2 bedrooms and another bathroom, with a shower over bath, and a separate toilet. The living area has expansive views and opens onto the deck, which is the ultimate spot to fire up the BBQ or relax with a glass of wine while taking in the scenery. The ground floor of this apartment has a separate, private apartment which may be tenanted during your stay. Your apartment has it's own separate entrance. However the yard around the apartment, parking area and the clothesline are shared with the apartment below. It is also very important to note that the yard is not fenced off, and there are areas on the grounds that have a drop. It is not safe for young children to be in the yard area without an adult closely watching them. No smoking, no pets. Noise must be kept to a minimum after 9pm out of respect for the people in the apartment below, and the neighbours who are close. The apartment must be left tidy. Located only 350 metres to Onemana Beach, and The Onemana Boatshed Cafe, Bar & Restaurant - you can easily get around without having to get in the car. Less than 10 minutes drive to Whangamata, where you will find abundance of cafe's, restaurants and shops - and of course, the famous Whangamata Beach. The air-conditioning/heat-pump unit, plus wood-fire offers comfort year-round, no matter the weather outside. There is no TV - however, there is Wifi. The property does not have a dishwasher. Great family place, in a fantastic location, at reasonable rates, what else do you need for a great stay at Whangamata. We have air conditioning, Sky TV, tons of DVD's, two bathrooms, outdoor hot and cold shower, plus large secure back yard area. With rates from $170 per night, we provide a beautiful, clean and relaxing place to enjoy your stay in Whangamata. Our homely holiday house is in a beautiful and quiet location only minutes walk from town and the beach. This Beach house is at the end of Lorraine place and has easy walkways at the end of the cul de sac, to help make it only a 5 minute walk to town plus Whangamata and RSA clubs, also 12 minutes to the beach. We provide heating, plus electric blankets on the queen beds over the cooler months. There is a children's playground within an easy walk on the way to town. The supermarket and local club are also easy walks so park the car up and enjoybachlife. If you are a fisho, we are handy to the boat ramp and, have a filleting bench (with hot and cold water) , plus plenty of parking on site. We provide our place in a clean, tidy, safe, and healthy manner and ask all guests to leave it in the same manner. We offer a cleaning service from $60. We request a bond that is returnable after clean exit. Booking is not confirmed until deposit is paid in full and accepted. There are lots of events in Whangamata over the year to get involved in, plus fishing, walks, surf beach, mini putt, 9 hole and 18 hole golf. Plenty of great cafes and shops to spend quality time in. We are available for bookings all year round, and we have a few regulars, which is a testament that this is a great holiday place to enjoy your stay in Whangamata. We don't live at this place so the whole house is available for your holiday (except the garage). We have ramp access on the back deck, plus up the Left hand side of the house, to help with mobility access.

Extensive views of Mt Paku and estuary, 2 acre garden, over 70 fruit trees, 300 roses, native gardens, frog enclosure with over 100 native green and brown miniature frogs, Guest garden at back of cottage contains veges, herbs, natives, grapes, apples. feijoas, cocktail kiwifruit, coffee tree, tea tree. Linda was a remote area nurse in Outback Australia in the winter months, and now gardens and swims with her dog Richie. She enjoys meeting the guests. Brian is a semi-retired builder and volunteer fire officer who has just received his gold star for 25 years' service. He loves fishing, diving, flying and enjoys meeting new people. Reopening after covid. We have enjoyed returning guests every year until the pandemic, from Germany, England, Scotland, France and Australia.

The lovely owners occupy the upstairs level, and will respect your privacy - but are more than happy to assist you with any queries during your stay. There is no oven - however, there is a hotplate, microwave, toaster, jug etc. There is a children's play-pool on the deck, and a trampoline on-site that children are welcome to use.
