Eliza's is much more than a simple holiday cottage. Please note due to pandemic needs we have put in place a 4 day minimum stay throughout the year excepting the Christmas holiday period when it is a week minimum.

Situated in the Rapaura grape growing district, home to famous wineries such as Cloudy Bay, Eliza's provides rarely found perfect peace and privacy in a totally rural sheltered sunny garden, surrounded by stunning views of vineyards, farmland, and the magnificent Richmond Ranges and yet only 5 minutes drive to all the facilities of Blenheim. The private swimming pool completes the picture perfect holiday retreat.

There is such a plethora of attactions in Marlborough that its hard to begin. Firstly the dozens of wineries, most famous for Marlborough's divine Sauvignon Blanc, are open 7 days a week and allow you to taste their delicious product mostly for nothing. Many also have restaurants featuring the gourmet delights of the region. There is the incredible beauty of the Marlborough Sounds just 20 minutes away where you can fish, sea kayak, swim with dolphins or hike the Queen Charlotte track. Whites Bay is only 10 minutes drive if you want to boogie board in a picturesque bay flanked by native bush.The Omaka Aviation Museum houses flying memorabilia including Peter Jacksons extraordinary collection of planes and other objects, displayed in stunning life like sets by his Oscar winning special effects team Weta Workshop. Bueautiful home, well equipped and maintained in an incredibly private location. Pool very welcoming on hot sunny days after golf or wine tastings. Will definitely book again.

Eliza's was magnificent - every attention to detail and then some! From the gorgeous blooms in every room to the yummy breakfast & veggies and even picnic chairs to take to the festival .. Wendy could not have been a more generous host. Thank you thank you - we came and left again all too soon.

THANK YOU!!!This is the best, quite altra relaxing place. Lots of room for the kids and things for them to do especially country kids!! The most comfortable beds We've ever slept in whilst staying away with the most lovely sheets.Beautiful fresh flowers and fruit, and homemade bread and bits for breakfast. Bacon and farm fresh eggs. We had the best stay. Thank you Wendy!
