Situated on a farm with beach access to hot water beach. House has beautiful views over beach and surrounding farmland Great walks through farm, with goats, cattle, turkeys, quail, paradise ducks, tui's, pet goats, donkeys, chickens, guinea fowls, peacocks, pheasants,and wild birds, very peaceful walking through farm.

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

Orua Rock is situated on the farm and is great for fishing, It overlooks Orua Bay and is right on the coast overlooking sea caves. Cathedral Cove is not far away and we have Hahei Beach and Hot Water Beach Cafe's about 5 minutes by car. Whitianga would be about 20 minutes by car and has 2 great supermarkets so there is lots to do.

We were absolutely mesmerised by our experience at Orua Beach House! Lorraine and Ian, our gracious hosts, truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The house, nestled amidst the picturesque farm, beach, enchanting forest trails, and breathtaking ocean vistas, provided a backdrop that felt like a scene from a fairytale. Perched high above the beach, the house boasts enchanting steps leading down to a stunning beach and shoreline, Once on the beach, you can walk to a place where you can easily dig natural hot water ponds in the sand! The sight of the house and its idyllic location left us awestruck upon our arrival. The children were having such a great time that they didn't want to leave, and we wished we had reserved a longer stay! We're already planning our next visit, eager to recreate this extraordinary escape as soon as possible!

I would highly recommend this place. The house is lovely and well equipped. The location is fantastic and very relaxing. Lorraine is lovely and was really responsive via email. They would come collect rubbish regularly without being intrusive. Could not speak more highly of this place. Will always remember the time we spent at Orua xx

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The house is absolutely gorgeous and Lorraine is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for our wedding and everyone was blown away by the views. Will definitely book again for other family functions.
