Located 35km south of Kaikoura and 35km north of Cheviot is this cosy building that was once a classroom. Nestled alongside the Conway River, just off SH1 is where you'll find Conway River View Cottage. Surrounded by hills covered in bush, pine trees and native fruit trees you can stroll the property at leisure. Only 7mins away by car, you'll find the spectacular east coast beaches of Claverley and Conway Flat where you may see dolphins and seals. Inside the cottage is a log burner that keeps the entire place toasty warm (wood provided). There's freeview tv, dvd's (selection available), wifi which can be a bit in and out. There's also chrome cast for your convenience. A bluetooth compatible sound bar can be used for sounds .. I can't get radio reception. I've been told the bed is very comfy but that's personal preference. It's comfortable, private and Pet Friendly. I know how important it is to have your best friend with you.. I like to take my dog with me everywhere! The nearest shop is a 20min drive (Cheviot) Latest Airbnb review We absolutely loved our stay here! Communication was warm and friendly and we felt very welcome from the moment we arrive, along with our two dogs. The location is great, right next to the river which our dogs enjoyed as much as we did. The accommodation was clean and cozy and Liz has thought of everything you might need and more with so much thought put into extra touches to make your stay special. The bed was soo comfy and the shower has fantastic pressure. Our only regret was that we weren't staying longer! This was a pit stop on our trip but we could happily return just to spend time enjoying the spot without anything else on our agenda! My partner travels a lot for work and this was his favorite stay so far! No hesitations recommending to others
