About this Holiday House
A short 20 minute drive from Picton around the scenic Queen Charlotte Drive and less than an hour to Blenheim and many Marlborough wineries, is Ngakuta Bay. A sheltered bay, perfect for boating (public boat ramp), swimming, kayaking, fishing off the jetty or just playing on the beach. There are walking tracks nearby to explore including the Link Pathway which connects Picton to Anikiwa and the start of the Queen Charlotte track.
Our family owned bach has been our family home for over 35 years. The bach has a spacious open plan lounge, dining room and fully equipped kitchen, providing ample space for a family. There are two bedrooms – one with a King size bed and the other with a set of bunks and single bed (or rollaway bed if required). The bathroom has a shower over a shub bath with a separate toilet. Each bed has electric blankets fitted and there are plenty of blankets and duvets. Electric heaters are provided in the bedrooms and a new Heat Pump has been installed in the Lounge.
With a large, private and secure section, it’s a great place for the whole family to relax. The verandah is north facing and a lovely spot to enjoy a cup of tea, read a book and listen to the bird song. The beach is a mere five minute walk away. The section is flat and suitable for parking a boat on.
Extras include a BBQ on the deck, bird food for feeding the native birds, badminton set, cupboards full of kids toys, puzzles and books and plenty of Feijoas in the autumn months!
