What great place to stay! You felt on holiday the moment you step through the door

We had a great stay at The Embassy! The house has amazing views from the kitchen, dining, lounge and two of the bedrooms. There's plenty of space for an extended family, and all the mod-cons including 3 bathrooms if you're using the sleepout. Being close to the beach was wonderful. The backyard is sheltered from the wind, and so we could relax in the pool at the times the beach wasn't welcoming, and the kids enjoyed playing with toys in the pool. The kayaks, wetsuits and life jackets were a lot of fun. There are three that are easy to use, and a couple more that we couldn't master. Hauling them up and down to the beach requires a fair bit of brute strength, so keep that in mind. Although we didn't meet Cecelia, we felt welcomed with a note and some home baking, as well as good communication before and throughout our stay. The Embassy is a great spot! The house is very spacious and well equipped with a beautiful view of the ocean. The added bonus of a pool means you can still cool off on hot days when it might be too windy down on the beach. The bed was super comfy and the shower had great pressure! Cafes/shops are only about a 10-15 min walk (or 2 min drive) away. Cecelia was very responsive in her communication and gave the added welcoming touch of some yummy homebaking! Highly recommend.
