Our house is a welcoming and well loved 3 bedroom home centrally located in Haast township. This is an older house but is very comfortable and has everything you need for a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Our absolute priority is the the comfort and satisfaction of our guests. Please be mindful that this is an older home, it is not the Ritz!! It is a work in progress, we have a lot of work to do on it. In time we will redo the bathroom and paint the outside of the house, also, the old windows are abit sticky, we are going to have them replaced, so we ask that you only open the windows with the metal grills on as these are safe to open. thank you for your understanding:) It sleeps 6 people easily, 8 people if the top bunks of the bunk beds are used. There is one Super King sized bed, one double bed and two separate bunk beds. The house is well appointed with a Dishwasher, Microwave Oven, Clothes Washing Machine and Clothes Dryer, as well all the other standard appliances (Fridge, Toaster, Stove/Oven, and Kettle). I am sorry, as of 30/12/24 the Dishwasher is out of order, so cannot be used until I get it repaired. Sorry for this inconvenience. The house is a great place for a group to base themselves while they explore the Haast area. It is close walking distance (under 5 minutes) both to the Grocery/General Store and to the local Hard Antler Pub which serves meals. Also a bonus is the house is surprisingly quiet and peaceful, being situated on a no exit street. The house is a close 5 minute walk to a lovely walking and Cycling track that takes you right to Haast beach and bach mostly through beautiful native bush, a 5 km walk, 10 km return round trip. It has a nice warm log fire for those cold evenings, unlimited firewood supplied. There are oil heaters in the 3 bedrooms for the colder months, and a convection heater for the main living area for some quick heat while the fire is warming up. We have recently had Wifi installed, so you can be fully connected with the outside world, and there is also very good mobile service. Adding to that we have purchased a new Smart TV which allows you to watch all your favourite shows at your leisure! We are looking forward to hosting you at our little slice of paradise!

Welcome to the hole in the rock Studio, a stunning place with amazing views, you will love it. Listen to the waves all day and walk to the beach down the steps, best at low tide. You are 5 minutes walk away from the Cape foulwind walkway. 2 minutes walk away from from the star tavern a great place for a beer and dinner.

Treescapes is a brand new two-bedroom house nestled in native bush looking out to the Tasman Sea. Situated just one kilometre south of the Punakaiki River it’s ideal for Paparoa Track bikers and trampers, road trippers, families, or small groups. The house has an open plan fully equipped kitchen and living area with a large covered deck, perfect for outdoor dining. Both bedrooms have queen beds, and one also has a wooden bunk set. All linen and towels provided. A track at the back of the house winds up through the garden to a wooden seat for sunset gazing Another short track across the road takes you through regenerating bush to the beach. There you can fossick for pounamu. Treescapes is also just up the road from the only mainland breeding colony of the taiko (Westland Petrel). The house is double-glazed and has a fire. It has a washing machine and outdoor drying racks. Free wifi.

Large covered area to enjoy the outdoors even when it rains. Very comfortable living area. Air conditioning for hot and cold, covered deck heating too. Centrally located on main street of Moana. Close to all amenities and attractions. Drive through access from both Ahau and Koe Streets, and large off street parking for boats and cars. Easiest access is off Koe Street.

Seascapes, the closest house to the Pancake Rocks, is right beside the beach. Light pours in from windows all around the two-storey home, with a different view from every aspect. Look west and there’s the Tasman Sea, to the south the Pancake Rocks and to the east towering limestone cliffs. The kitchen/living room area on the upper floor is open plan. It has everything you need for whipping up a meal – oven/stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, rice cooker and fridge/freezer. It opens out on to a deck with a barbeque, the ideal spot for watching the sun set over the sea. Look carefully and you might even see the famous green flash. The living area also has a tv with Sky TV, a DVD player and DVDs. Downstairs there’s another deck at garden level. There’s access to the seaside via a garden path. Seascapes has four bedrooms. The main house has a master bedroom with queen bed and another bedroom with twin beds. Fold out beds are also available on request. The garden cottage, tucked alongside the main house, has a double room and another with two single beds which can be made up as a double. All linen and towels are supplied. There’s also a baby cot available on request. The house has two toilets and a bathroom. There’s a washing machine, dryer and free wifi. Check in: 3pm Check out: 10am

Welcome to the hole in the rock yurt, a stunning place with amazing views. The yurt has one King bed and a queen pull out sofa bed (note the yurt and sofa bed are in the same room) Stunning views over the Ocean Steeples & Famous hole in the rock. Short walk to the Seal colony walk and surf spots. 1 min walk to the famous Star Tavern for some great service, local beers & food. I own a surf school and can hook you up with surf lessons, paddle boarding trips for a fee. Kayaks and bikes for hire also. We have some great surf here & stunning rivers to SUP down. Some amazing bike trails too.
